Hyatt Hotels & Resorts plans to open its first Hawaii Andaz resort next year, at Mokapu and Ulua Beach.  The 325-room Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort & Spa will feature a 15,000-sq.-ft. spa and 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.  The new Andaz property sits on the former hotel property of the Wailea Renaissance resort which closed its doors in mid 2007.  The beach is a prime spot for Maui weddings.

Hi Sussie - yes there's quite a huge difference.  But our prices look like a bargain compared to some of the West Coast areas.
