Elect Dennis Burgess- ORRA Board of Directors 2013
Greetings,
Very seldom are our lives truly boring. Things may be going well one day and poorly the next. One may be on the brink of despair one evening- yet find themselves celebrating one of their life's greatest accomplishments the following morning. Good, bad, ups, downs, positives and negatives come our way.
We're all united in that we experience both triumphs and adversities- and most do well in handling the triumphs. What separates us, though, is how we handle adversities that come our way- for more than the triumphs, it's those adversities that mold our characters and set us up for the next challenge around the corner.
Today, I humbly announce my candidacy for a position on the Orlando Regional Realtors Association (ORRA)'s Board of Directors for 2013. Voting will be held 9/24/12-9/28/12 by electronic ballot- so we're 70 days away!
The road I must travel before taking my seat on the Board is a long one. There are 8 of us vying for 4 available seats- and I serve on committees or subcommittees with 6 of the other 7 folks. I know most well and respect every one of them- and the field includes a few who are true legends within our association that are either former directors or vice-chairmen of the same.
I pledge to run a clean campaign, and look to be the best witness for Jesus Christ that I can be through both my words and deeds.
I consider myself fortunate to have an opportunity to compete for a spot on our Board- and I commit to doing my best in this effort to greater serve my fellow members.
