Every Thursday from June 14 – October 11 shoppers can enjoy the bright colors and aromas at the popular Lake City Farmers Market. The word has gotten out about this lovely neighborhood market where you can enjoy cooking demos, produce tasting, live music and activities for kids throughout the summer and fall market season.
The well attended Thursday event is a great way for the community to buy from local growers a seasonal berries, fruits, heirloom tomatoes, all kinds of greens and lettuces, summer squashes, root vegetables, pole beans, purple cauliflower and dozens of other veggies, as well as a good selection of farmstead cheeses, locally produced meats and seafood, honey, preserves, and fresh cut flower bouquets
Farmers Markets are great way to help support your local growers while getting some of the freshest products available while helping recirculate the money spent back into the local economy.

Thursdays, 3-7 pm, from June 14 through October 11, at NE 125th and 28th Ave NE, Seattle, 98125, FREE underground parking garage right next to the market on 28th Ave NE, and public parking on the streets surrounding the market.
Metro Bus routes 41, 64, 65, 72, 75, 243, 306, 312, 372, 522 provide service to Lake City.
