FAMILIES IN TRANSITION, Wonderful Central Florida 32765 Charity that is so WORTHY of Our Support
Do you have a homeless checklist? I doubt it. None of us imagine being in that position and yet we probably know families like this and just don't recognize their situation.
As a human being, this should bring you to tears as it did me. As a Realtor, this is opposite of everything I strive for in my business. I love the days I get to hand keys over to families to their new home...and these families just want a motel or a chance.

This has got to be at the top of your list of worthy, heartfelt organizations that need and deserve your help.

Our company, Keller Williams allows our agents to contribute to any charity with each and every closing and I can tell you that our office each year first raises $3,000 for our internal charity KW Cares which pools money to be used for the benefit of agents and their families financially affected by natural disaster like the Joplin Tornados, or Hurricane Katrina.
Once we raise this amount each year, then our office decided to take on a more LOCAL PROJECT and this year we are raising $10,000 to feed 500 families in need a Traditional Christmas Meal here on the Treasure Coast. I have personally contributed from each closing to each of these, but after seeing this incredible story tonight on 60 minutes and knowing that this was in my very neighborhood I moved down from in 2004, I cannot help but be drawn back to helping such and incredibly worthy cause. And I am laying down the gauntlet to my own Keller Williams Agents of Central FL. This means you Oveido, and Waterford, and Lee Vista, and Vineland, and Lake Mary, and all the rest.
I know that if all of you ask your MCA's to contribute to this wonderful organization called FAMILIES IN TRANSITION, you will see a DIRECT IMPACT in your own backyard, and these are your future folks. Come on Agents, Let us UNITE and help the next generation y. We all know these are our future clients, our future elected officials, and even our future neighbors and could be future employees, so let's donate to this incredibly worthy cause. I now challenge you to watch this video and not shed a tear.
