The summer is wrapping up and so is another month in the real estate market of Stamford CT. Sales were slower in July compared to the month of June. Currently there are 474 properties available for sale in Stamford. Over 100 of them are priced in the $1-2 million range. The most expensive property currently is the 3.51 acres island off of Wallack's Point. This property boasts 11 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and 1 powder room. The least expensive home is very affordable - a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom bungalow on the South End is available for $190,000, hardwood floors throughout.
There are 119 homes under contract and awaiting their final closings, where new home owners will acquire their dream homes and sellers will move to the next chapter in their lives.
