Assistance Requested from Active Rain Prayer Experts

 

Active Rain (AR) means a lot of different things to a very large and diverse membership group. There are so many wonderful people who are members and participate in one form or another. I have learned numerous things from being part of this group and developed a number of virtual friendships. We have even been able to expand the virtual friend to real life meeting with another member.  I find numerous members who are extremely intelligent, fantastic Realtors and human beings and many that are more than happy to share their knowledge with others. I have also seen several instances where members have requested the help of the AR prayer experts and AR is loaded with folks who I would call prayer experts.

 

I am asking for help right now from all members who believe in the power of prayer. I personally have a strong belief in praying and try to save my prayers for really important things such as someone’s health. My cousin’s husband who is named Lance was recently diagnosed to have a large mass in his bladder. Just last year he had surgery for prostate cancer and we all thought he won the battle. Lance Abair was a great musician in his own right and had to retire from music a few years ago as he was to be suffering from a very a rare auto immune disease which has affected his ability to  play any instrument. I wrote a blog last October for the Fall Season of Miracles Challenge which discussed my getting reunited with my cousin Linda who is Lance’s wife and that blog is available by clicking here. This poor guy has one health punch after another for several years and can seem to catch a break.  

 

My request is a simple one as I am asking folks to please pray for Lance as he will have to undergo surgery to figure out what the mass in his bladder is and what to do next. Lance is a super person, husband and dad plus being a terrific musician

 

His daughter Mindi has been the topic and/or in pictures in a few of my blogs as she is a popular and accomplished jazz musician (she plays sax) who has her own band. Right now Mindi is finishing up playing with Aerosmith on their current tour. She had to forgo finishing the tour with Aerosmith has her band already had booked several competing dates to play in several different cities. If it is not evident from my articles we are extremely proud of Mindi and her family.
