Tis the time of year when the landscaping seems to get a little blah.....
But, we still need to get those homes that are listed SOLD! So here are some suggestions on Fall Flowers to add a little curb appeal to that fading landscape.
One of the number 1 choice of gardeners is the Chrysanthemum or "Mum". They have wonderful bright colors, come in different sizes and always seem to mix well with other plants you have. Another plus is they are easy to find and they also do very well in hanging pots as well!
Another popular way to add some color is with Pansies! They can be found in all color pallettes and will add beauty to anyones front landscaping. In our area Purple and Gold are very popular for our fighting LSU TIGERS!!! These gems will provide color from Fall to Spring.
This one is a magical plant and if you hurry it's not too late to plant these bulbs now! It is the Autumn Crocus. These flowers will bloom in White and Lilac Pink and will bloom really fast after planting! They are only about 6" but have a wide spread for a wonderful showing! A great choice for something a little different!
There are many other choices, but, I just wanted to maybe give you a little insperation!
Always make sure to do your prep work correctly.....Dig a larger hole than what you need and use a good amount of loose soil to give the roots room to grow this will help your plants to make it through any freeze they might need to bare!
