Love That Goggle Juice For New Home Sales Training

By
Education & Training with Steve Hoffacker LLC

This afternoon, in doing a Goggle search of organic results (non-paid) for the long-tail search term "Sales Training for Onsite New Home Salespeople," I found that I occupied the first 5 spots on page one - not just first but first through fifth!

Notice they come from a variety of sources, with 3 of them coming from Active Rain posts.

Steve:  That is just fabulous.  I am impressed.  The first five spots... wow!

Just out of curiosity, how many new home builders have you worked on-site with?  What were the names of the builders you actually sold on-site for, and how many years of on-site experience do you have?

I'd love to know.  I have sold on-site for DR Horton, US Home, Drees Homes, Grand Homes, Winchester Homes, and The Milton Company.  The first four in the Fort Worth area, and the last two in Northern Virginia.

Congratulations and best wishes for continued success.

Have an outstanding week as home buyers continue to take advantage of the very low mortgage interest rates.

Karen Anne,

Thank you. I have been working with builders - hundreds and hungreds of them all across America and Canada - for 30 years. The majority of them are out of business now or merged with another builder. The ones I personally sold for are also out of business by now. I know all of the companies you mention. :)

Steve  I am impressed, but I also respect your thoroughness to the details in your posts and am not surprised.  Congratulations

Steve:  Hmmm... there seems to be a connection here.  Step 1:  Steve works with builder.  Step 2:  Builder goes out of business.  Hmmmm... LOL.

Have a great week.

Karen Anne,

Looks that way but isn't. Many builders do a project or two and then go away. Others merge. Some retire. Some don't buy any more land. Some get tired of building and change businesses ... :)

Steve:  When a builder I am working for on-site... not as a Realtor, but as an employee of the builder... brings in a "trainer"... I look at them in a positive way... most of the time... LOL.  There is always something I can learn.  Always.

But there's this one dude... based in Texas.  Oy.  I remember having two different builders bring him in to "train" us... about two years apart... and it was the same old same old.  Made me weary.  That was in Dallas.

Then I moved up into the Northern Virginia market... signed on with a builder... and about six months later, we were told we were going to have a two-day training seminar.  I "gulped."  There I was... hoping against hope that I would not be subjected to this same dude... and his "sweeping vistas..." silliness.  But... also... it DID turn out to be the same guy.

It was like he was following me around the country... trying to personally aggravate me.  Oh, the pain of it all.  (By the way... out of respect... I have on purpose not mentioned his name.)

Karen Anne,

For me, training has to be fresh and relevant. Thanks for sharing your experiences. :)
