Propositions and Politicians: A Bank of America Cooperative Short Sale

By

cooperative short saleI felt exhausted after voting this week. Didn't you? The election wore me out. Especially if you voted in California. Holy cow. In Sacramento, we had four pages on our ballot. Four pages of Propositions and Politicians! There were just too damn many things to vote for. You've gotta ask yourself why aren't the guys in Congress, the men and women we elected, doing this stuff? Why are they taking it to the people and making us decide? Huh?

That kind of question makes about as much sense as what the banks are doing. Especially Bank of America and it's Cooperative Short Sale pricing. Bank of America is now trying to beat the system. Don't think so? Well, take a look at my personal blog and read about The Problem With Pricing a Bank of America Cooperative Short Sale. Then let me know what you think, OK?

What I love is how the propositions are worded. I have an MBA from Vandebilt so i would like to think that I was not short changed in the smarts department.  But some measures are just indecipherable!

Elizabeth: We only had two pages in Michigan, but an obscene amount of money was spent by special interest groups trying to amend our state constitution.  Thankfully none of the amendments passed.  I'd rather have as much of an individual say as possible, though, even though representative democracy is the only realistic option for most matters, given our country's size and population.  Thanks for sharing!  :)

Morning Elizabeth here in Arkansas there were State wide and locally 6 props we had to vote on.  All passed except for one.  It is getting out of hand I agree that is what we sent the politicians to do

Elizabeth -- you're right about the California ballot -- the wording and uncovering the story as well as the dollars behind the propositions is, to say the least, mindboggling.   We really should have a part-time legislature in the state if we are asked to do the job we send them to do in Sacramento.
