California Homes Are Priced to Buy!

Check out the median home prices for San Diego County!

According to Businessweek, California home prices posted an 8th straight annual increase in October 2012. Gains were felt across the state, including here in North County. This comes as no surprise - who wouldn't want to live in one of our highly-desired communities like Buena Creek, Shadowridge, or Sante Fe Hills?

This is just another sign that the state's housing market recovery is picking up due to the demand from low inventory. DataQuick recently reported that 39,254 homes sold in the state of California last month, (up 15.2 percent from 34,087 sales the same period last year), and that the median price for new and existing houses and condominiums is up 18.8 percent from last October! Foreclosed properties are making up a smaller part of the sales mix, which is helping out all across the board.

As a buyer, these statistics are important because they indicate where home prices are heading in the future. If you are considering buying a home, there is no time like the present. Rates are low and prices are only going to go up.
