Nothing Attracts New Clients Like Past Success--
I wrote a contract today, just not with this couple. The buyers I worked with today were actually a referral from the people in the picture. Where did I meet the people in the picture? A referral from a client I worked with in 2010.
My jokes never get enough credit. Though I share funny anecdotes and point out humorous things on home tour, rarely do past clients mention this. I do hear comments like, "Jacob says you can get the job done".
In the end, old jokes have little staying power. Buyers and sellers what to know you can get them where they wish to be. I have learned (thanks early on to Barbara Todero) to "toot my own horn".
Instead of posing like an aging Abercrombie and Finch model, I take pictures of SOLD banners on my listings. And you won't find a photo of me collecting a closing check from a Title Attorney. Instead I post pictures of my clients getting their keys. If you look hard enough, you can see my reflection in the china cabinet.
