Huntsville Public Library NEWS: Kids Book Club Meeting

Huntsville Public Library

The Huntsville Public Library now has a Kids Book Club. The meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month. The March meeting is coming up this Tuesday, March 5, 2013. The younger readers will be reading Dr. Seuss early readers and picture books. Older readers will be reading chapter books that deal with magical adventures.

The meeting will be held at 4:30 PM in the Children's Room at your Huntsville Public Library.

Getting kids to read as early as possible is so important and these days I think reading is almost a lost art! I like your Public servive note at the bottom of your blog as that is a great idea.

Bob: I love the idea of a kids book club. This is different than their weekly story hour. :)))

Dorie: Agreed! Anything that gets us (Children AND Adults) away from computers and video games is a good thing!

Rebecca: They also have a weekly story hour on Wednesdays, but it is for preschool aged children only.

Thanks, Jordon. The library provides lots of educational entertainment for our children AND our adults!

Joy: My favortie Dr. Seuss book was a lesser known book called The Digginest Dog. I LOVED to read that book to my boys!
