I went out last week to join the first soccer meet in Regent Park, a newly revitalized Toronto neighbourhood in Downtown East. The renewed Regent Park is a neighbourhood-in-the-change, where condo owners co-exist with rent-geared-to-income residents. Residents come together at community gatherings such as yoga, soccer, swimming, basketball, comedy and indie music nights, as well as arts and cultural events.
