Indian Ponds Country Club, Kingston

Indian Pond Country Club is a championship golf club surrounded by wooded conservation lands and the Indian Pond Estates community in Kingston, Massachusetts.

This 18-hole championship course, designed by golf course architects Graves and Pascuzzo, plays 6,614 yards from the championship tees. It's a challenging course, with a 70.9 rating and a 131 slope.

The magnificent 52,000 square-foot clubhouse includes a pro shop, lounge, the Grand Foyer and Ballroom, the Blackstones Room and one of the largest and loveliest swimming pools in New England.

Golf Digest ranks IPCC among the top 20 courses in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Initiation and yearly dues are reasonable, and include lockers, the driving range, practice bunkers and putting green.

The course can be played in 4 hours or less and the club fosters a friendly club environment with professionally run golf tournament and league events. The Junior Golf program includes clinics, camps, weekly play and tournaments for junior players from 6 to 17 years old.

Family, individual and social memberships are available.

What about the lifestyle? People living at the IPCC love it. The homes are large and comfortable, and the people in the community are friendly. 

There are still home sites available for $170,000, and building packages that start at $650,000, through my brokerage, Coldwell Banker. There is a homeowners association but there are no mandatory home association fees.
