Data. . . That is what I have followed for years now, 17 years to be exact in this sometimes crazy world of selling homes. April was a record month for consumers finalizing contracts. Home sales for Mandeville and Covington real estate are no different. We have seen the St. Tammany real estate market increase at a record pace.
When more people begin to buy homes the mortgage rates go up and they have done just that... gone up. Don't get me wrong they are still amazingly low at around 4% fixed rate. This is however the highest interest rates have been in months.
