Operation Hope Chesapeake Beach

Hail to our returning heroes. Help welcome wounded veterans back home this Saturday, August 17th, 2013 with Operation Hope Chesapeake Beach. Operation Hope is asking that all Americans in the Chesapeake Beach area take just a few moments out of their day to make these amazing men and women get the hero's welcome they deserve.

What: Operation Hope Chesapeake Beach
When: August 17, 2013 from 7:30am to 8:30am
Where: Rod N Reel parking lot (4165 Mears Ave)

A bus transporting wounded vets from Water Reed Medical Center in Bethesda will make its way via Calvert County Sheriff's Department escort from the county line to the parking lot of Rod N Reel restaurant in Chesapeake Beach this Saturday. Calvert County citizens are asked to bring their flags and any banners or signs they want to show their appreciation for all that these men and women have done for this country of ours. If you can't make it to the Rod N Reel parking lot, there are several locations along Rt. 260 that will you can gather at, including:

Calvert Arundel Medical Center (Rt. 260 & Rt. 2)
Quince View Neighborhood (Rt. 260 & Woodlawn Wy)
American Legion Post 206 (Rt. 260 & Wesley Stinnett)
Veterans Memorial Park (Rt. 260 & Rt. 261)

All Americans in the Calvert County area are asked to show their support in welcoming wounded vets from Bethesda's Walter Reed Hospital back home on Saturday, August 17th. Operation Hope Chesapeake Beach wants to make sure these heroes know they are loved, respected and appreciated for the sacrifices they have made in our honor.
