In difficult and trying times for people I have noticed many people give "happy" advice. I see this in the real estate industry of late. Be a positive thinker they say. Put a smile on your face and things will be better. Have a good attitude. On the surface all this is fine, but I think it needs to be overlayed on what I call CALM WATERS.
People need to develop inner peace. Tranquility in their life despite the roller coaster nature of circumstances. You do this with a rock solid faith in family, friends, and your spirituality. Believe in yourself. Maintain positive self-talk. When agitation or trouble or negativity comes your way, pause at first and don't react. Reclaim the calm waters that have been inside you all along to tap into. Then everything will be fine.
