Play Dominoes at Katy Senior Center
I try to cover as many different activities available in Katy to a very wide range of ages from the very young to Senior Citizens. Katy has something going on for virtually everyone no matter what their interest. I have recently read Katy has had a major influx of Seniors all wanting to be close to family and maybe grandchildren. Katy is a mecca for families with children.
The Katy Senior Center which is located at 5370 Fifth St. Katy TX in old Katy is inviting local Seniors to come to play dominoes. The Senior Center is part of the services offered by the City of Katy. The hot dominoes action will take place on Friday September 13, 2013 and will start at 10 AM. The center’s phone number is 281-391-4837.
The Katy Senior Center offers local Seniors a very wide range of activities to participate in as well as the opportunity to see old friends and potentially make new ones. I personally think it is so important for Senior’s to have a social life and get out of house. Stop watching that darn TV all day and actually do something is my personal opinion. I personally witnessed what happens, via my Mom and Dad, when they retired to folks when they spend all of their time cooped up in one place. Being alone or being just with your spouse 24/7 is not healthy for either party.
