STATE AND LOCAL EXPERIENCE Michael is an active member of the California and Nevada Water Works Association and the American Water Works Association. AWWA & The California-Nevada Section of AWWA are two associations linked together by a common belief and a common passion: Safe and Reliable Drinking Water.

 

As a member of the Legislative Committee, Local Governmental Relations Committee and Property management Committee for the California Association of Realtors (CAR), Michael helped and observed in advancing public policy objectives in the California State Legislature in Sacramento, including sponsoring, supporting and opposing state legislation. Michael monitored and supervised the state implementation of C.A.R. public policy in legislation and regulation, and he evaluated policy recommendations that arose in C.A.R.'s four public policy committees: Transaction and Regulatory, Taxation and Government Finance, Land Use and Environmental, and Housing. The Legislative Committee reports to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
