Be Thankful Challenge 2013 - Day 4
If you are on Facebook with me then you know what a nut I am married to -- and you have already heard this story!
Last night when I got home from church I was freezing. The sanctuary was cold and I was sitting under the ceiling fans. As I walked in the house I whined and complained -- "I'm FREEZING."
Rick proceeds to tell me that it is 70 degrees in the house. It is NOT freezing.
So... Like any good wife would do, I put on warm PJs, grabbed a blankie, and put on my UGG boots. *Evil Grin 😇
As I walked out of the bedroom my husband takes one look at me and says...
"I think you're being a bit of a Dairy Queen!"
DAIRY Queen! Really?!
BAHhahahahahaHA!
He never gets the words to songs right!
"Jack Frost nipping at your toes...."
He often doesn't think before he sings --
One morning while I am putting on makeup, he steps out of the shower behind me, drying off, and singing loudly "I feel like a woman." (We had been listing to Shania Twain on the boat the previous day.)
OH. MY. GOSH!
I was rolling on the floor laughing!
I am so very thankful that 19 years later, my crazy husband STILL makes me LAUGH OUT LOUD! I am very thankful for him! :)
Besides all that, he brings me coffee in bed almost every morning. He cooks. AND he cleans. Oh yeah -- He's a keeper!
