New this year at Lake Lure NC is "Winter Fest" coming up on December 21st and 22nd from 5:00 Pm to 9:00 pm
Join us for a weekend of wintertime fun for the whole family at WinterFest in the Gorge 2013, Friday and Saturday, December 20-21 from 5-9 p.m. Come out and support local businesses and catch the WinterFest spirit.

- Hot Chocolate & Cider
- Beach Bonfire & S'mores
- Chimney Rock Main Street lights and Christmas tree
- Fairy Village (the Gorge little people) competition and Bridge Lighting
- Trolley Tours From Lake Lure Inn & Spa
