Enjoy Nature's Own Fireworks ~ SKY on Fire ! ! !

After 58 inches of snow a warming trend melted most of the snow and Mother Nature offered one of her best sunsets this evening. Here is just one view of Mother Nature's beautiful sunset looking across the road from my house.

Over a half hour the sky has changed from minute to minute from just a teaser to full brilliance and now just muted hint of peace at end of day.

Maybe this is Mother Nature's way of saying there is beauty in every season even a winter sunset.

You are right, Bob. I find beauty even on really cold, blustery days, but this was just the end of a rather nice day that followed a string of cold, blustery days.

Jennifer, you & and I know that winter will return with a vengeance but let's enjoy the beauty today.

Okay, Jerry, Inwill keep my phone/ camera on hand for these moments so I can capture nature's beauty.

Silvia, I love your mother's saying 'the angels making bread & turning the sky red.' That is captivating.

Roger, living here along the lake has it's reward especially the sunsets and sunrise colors. Maybe it's God compensating for the not-so-nice weather.

Mary, you have had A LOT of snow so far. We get about an inch or two every few days, but after it is done, the sun comes and it melts. We have been lucky so far! That was a gorgeous sunset. Those clouds really added to the beauty!

Thanks, Joan. That evening sunset was one of the prettiest we have had this winter. Lately we have had snow and more snow.

Roy, sorry to send the cold weather in your direction, but we just had to get rid of it. It's 20 degrees warmer today so you will get that weather tomorrow.
