Texas Home & Garden Show in Houston 2014

The Houston Reliant Center Hall A is hosting the 28th Annual Texas Home & Garden Show starting on Friday February 7 and going through Sunday February 9, 2014. The Show promoters have called this show for several years “Houston’s Premier One Stop Shopping Opportunity” for all a homeowner needs for their home and garden. The show hours are: Friday February 7 2:00 p.m. TILL 7:00 P.M.; Saturday February 8 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.; and Sunday February 9, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.

The show occupies over 150,000 square feet of space and includes 1,000’s of products.

Tickets are Adults $10 per person; Children 14 and under are FREE: Seniors (65+) are $9.00. A 1.00 discount is available online by going here.

Major attractions at this show include but are not limited to: Remodeling; Builders; Green energy and green products; Home décor; Building products; Kitchens, baths & many more rooms; Outdoor living (continues to be huge item among home buyers); How to do it workshops are held each day; Pools and spas; é; Vacation; Organic Lawn care; Drying Garden Herbs; outdoor attractions plus many more topics. A Kids zone is being added this year to the show and will include among several attractions a cooking school.

If you are bored this weekend or are having NFL withdrawals try consider attending this show. I personally just got back from vacation and I am swamped at home and with both my jobs. I will not be attending. Enjoy these attractions and let me know if you attended and what you like the best. The Reliant Center is an easy drive from Katy Texas on a weekend especially if you use the West Park Tollway.

I always love these shows - they are a great source of ideas and bring hope that Spring is just around the corner.

I even saw bunches of tulips in the grocery store yesterday. Although, our forecast calls for snow, followed by freezing rain on Friday/Saturday. Oh boy. :)
