The neighborhood of Connors at Vanderbilt Beach offers both quick access to the Gulf of Mexico through Wiggins Pass (one bridge with about 20 feet of clearance) as well as endless back bay boating all of the way up to Matanzas Pass at Fort Myers Beach. There are about 500 canal homes with three streets having the unique characteristic of being on a canal and a short stroll across the street to the beach.
