Update on Karen Anne Stone

I've been in communication with Karen Anne's Stone's Broker. He says she was dismissed from the Kindred Hospital about two weeks ago. He is currently trying to reach her and get her whereabouts. If he finds anything out, he'll let me know. I will continue to follow up with the Broker.

Being in ICU presented many challenges for non-family members. There were many times after my last visit when they would not let me in or provide information. As soon as I hear anything else, I promise to let you know.

All I can recommend is faith, hope, and prayers.

Patricia, thank you for the update on Karen Anne. When I was in the hospital, she called me and really cheered me up. It's frustrating to not be able to return the favor!

It seems that Karen Anne is no longer at the Kindred facility she was at a few months ago, I called and they said she isn't there. If my investigative information is correct she is at a single family home located at 10112 ASH CREEK LANE, FORT WORTH, TX. Could that be her daughter? Anyone know?

Hey, I just did a reverse lookup on 411.com, and the occupant at that address is shown as "Molly T. Cat", Karen Anne's feline companion. And the phone is listed in Molly's name. Hmmmm.

I understand you're all concerned about Karen Anne Stone. I have tried my best to get information and have not been successful. There reached a point when I was told I couldn't see her anymore at the Kindred Hospital because I wasn't family and she was in ICU.

I have stayed in communication with her Broker and he also experienced no luck in getting information concerning her whereabouts. My last communication from the Broker came on March 29, 2014. This is what he had to say:

"Hi Patricia. I have not heard a word... I will let you know if we do. We have tried contacting her through every avenue we have, but no luck.

I have not gone to that address. It's quite a distance from where I live and honestly, for personal reasons, I am not able to go to that house and poke around. I did look the property up through the tax records and it's listed with a Darla Kay Fater. Whether the owner lives there or it's a rental, I do not know.

I'm very sorry I don't have anymore information. I know you all care a lot about Karen Anne. All I can say is her Broker is working on his end to get more information and I feel confident that if he has information, he will contact me. I will then pass along that information to Kerrie and the rest of the AR communtiy.

Actually, some of this doesn't really surprise me. Karen Anne told me that her family life was troubled. In fact, she even said that she wouldn't be surprised if they didn't show up for surgery! It seems pretty obvious that the family didn't want OUR support...
