Records are showing an unprecedented surge in citizenship filings and immigration officials are ramping up for weekend shifts, staff increases and extra paperwork to keep up with the demand.
A big push is coming to Orange County from US Citizenship and Immigration Services. That big push came last year as well in The OC, and resulted in a half-million people applying to become naturalized citizens. And last July was the biggest jump in the past 15 years. In Los Angeles about 236,000 people applied for citizenship, which was about double from the previous year.
This is all good energy and the right thing to be doing...please email your opinions.
And thank you for making me Your Orange County Real Estate Connection.
