Looking for something uinque for your home that can't be found in a Wal-Mart? Need new clothing, but want discounted prices? Wilton's Turnover Shop is located just below the Village Market and next to Fido's Food Bin. Its phone number is 203-762-3160. Located on 98 Old Ridgefield Road, the Turnover Shop is run by volunteers. Most of these employees are Wilton natives and have been working there for at least 20 years. They know everyone in town and are super nice!
There are always fabulous treasures to be found- if you go in on Tuesday or Thursday during the consignment times, you will catch the better items as they arrive. Many folks in Wilton go in and browse the racks during the consignment drop off times, as that's when the pricier items will come in.
The Turnover Shop gives all of its proceeds to the Wilton school system - all donations and monies made go directly to the schools. Donations can just be dropped off anytime the store is open.
If you wanted to consign items, you would need to go between 10 am and 11:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most people drop donations from their homes and run. It is a nice way to clean out your home, closets, and attics and contribute to the Wilton schools.
