Why is CCISD such a great school district to have your children attend? The test scores, and top-notch athletic programs speak for themselves, but what I’m talking about is the Latitude to Learn project. Hopeful to come into fruition by 2015, CCISD will have a tablet on a 1:1 level for every student grades 3-12. The reason behind this move, is to digitalize textbooks, saving the district up to $4 Million a year. It’s amazing how fast technology has grown, where schools can provide economically-friendly tablets for textbooks, homework assignments, and even virtual classes! Stuff like this makes CCISD that much more of an attractive district to be a part of.
