My Work Is Cut Out For Me?

Many years ago, maybe a dozen or more, I was the selling agent for a very special family who moved out of town. They are now returning to Baltimore with a daughter who will be attending Stevenson University. And...

they want me to help them find a home.

I have a Buyers4YourHome Page on my site.

Buyers4YourHome.com

I have always had buyers write up a wish list before we start the search.  This family is no exception.

Below is the list of features for their new home

                                      ''Regarding  Our New Home

The concepts are not listed in any particular order of importance – on an overall basis there is a preference for the Pikesville /Greater Pikesville Area with the awareness and the preference for ease of travel for the reason that our daughter  will be attending Stevenson University and she will be living at home and commuting to the school.

Margaret – we have been looking at homes on-line since January – and we have paid special attention to “zips”  21208, 21093, 21117, 21136 – and even 21153 – we realize how they flow together and while a property may actually be geographically in a certain zip it actually has the “feel” and the seeming location of being in another zip – We will n explain more fully when we meet.

Thank you for taking a look at this list – we look forward to working with you once again –

This week I will be meeting with them and looking forward to finding their perfect home!

With a list like this, I would think you only need to show 1 to 3 homes max and your job will be done.

I like buyers to write out a wish list - then priortize the wishes.  It does help help the buyers start to focus.

I'm not an agent, but I'm thinking that if a client has specific needs ... and wants ... it's best to know that upfront prior to viewing homes.  This list would definitely fit that description!  But at least you'd have specifics to use when searching for desirable properties ...

And yep ... Margaret DOES have her work laid-out for her!
