Changes in Life & Active Rain

I've often been accused of being a loyalist.  Once I find a brand or a shop I like, I don't leave.  Still on marriage #1, after 20-odd years, and expect to be there another 20-30-40 years.

 

So, I don't go forward with change for the sake of change.BUT some change is good.

My time at Active Rain has included lots of lurking, though I'm writing and commenting more now.  If I wonder why, all I can think of is that it's gotten easier.

I love being able to get lots of info on the writer by their thumbnails.  I like that.

Being able to reference posters with the @ symbol .....pure joy.

The Like arrows.....that's just fun, and I'll gladly doing it without points.

 

Change for the sake of change is a waste of time & effort.  Change, or minor tweaks if you wish, to make a platform better, I'll take that every time.

I don't embrace change well either.  However, it took me more than one try to find my soulmate, but that's a story for another day.  

I like the most recent changes here too.  And even when I don't like one, if they can explain the why behind it I generally accept it and move on.

Claude, it is nice to see changes if they really benefit our community.    There are things we sacrifice for those changes.

I think that Active Rain is a tool that everyone uses in their own way.  I don't mind the changes to the Rain, it takes some getting used to but it's OK.

I believe that most of us are creatures of habits. If we are comfortable with someone or something, there is no reason to toss that away.
