Today in Bristol TN~VA 8.28.14 …Late Bloomers!

 

This has been a really unusual year for landscaping here in the Bristol TN~VA area after one of the coldest winters in the past 20 years!

Aimee's Hydrangeas are normally blooming by the July, but as you can see here is the first bloom of the season!

No worries there are lots of blooms and these should be beautiful now through October ....

I guess you just call them .....LATE BLOOMERS!

Hi Rob, when we lived in Massachusetts, we had these Hydrangeas all,around the house and they looked much like yours.  They were amazing when in bloom!

One thing for sure.  I lost so many shrubs to the cold last winter, I'm not even replacing them.  Who knows.  The cold may be a trend.
