Creekside Manor Subdivision is located within the The Hunters Creek Village or "Hunters Creek", a very high end neighborhood and a part of a collection of upscale residential communities in the Memorial Villages. Up until the 1940's, Creekside was originally part of the 100-acre Memorial farms and woodlands. By the 1950's, home construction began and Creekside was annexed by Hunters Creek Village. Creekside has about 69 homes with lot sizes from 1/2 acre to 2/3's of an acre. Located east of Beltway 8, west of Chimney Rock Road and south of I-10, Creekside is centrally located and an easy commute to downtown Houston. BusinessWeek reported in 2010 that Hunters Creek Village was the most expensive suburb in Texas, while in 2008 Forbes named Hunters Creek Village as one of the three Houston area "Top Suburbs to Live Well."
