What an amazing display of artwork at the Blue Jay Quilt Walk yesterday, September 27th, 2014. The event was sponsored by the Blue Jay Merchant's Association and Willow Woods Quilt Guild and took place 10am - 4pm, off of Hwy 189 in Blue Jay, CA. People from all over convened to view the masterful quilts on display.
Not only were there numerous quilts lining the Blue Jay Village, but they also had the "Bra Challenge", sponsored by the Soroptimists International of Rim of the World, who provide free mammograms for uninsured local women. It was awe inspiring to see the creativity and time that went into these.
Every year the quilts get better and better. While it has only been a day since the event ended, we are already counting the days to the 7th Annual Quilt Walk!
