C is for Cookie
Fitchburg Library is hosting Cookie Crafting the Turkey Edition this Friday November 21 at 4pm. Make sure you make time to stop by & make a craft good enough to eat! We'll use various "materials" & lots of melted chocolate as glue to construct a cookie you'd swear was a turkey! The end result is both festive and delicious. Please children Ages 4-11.

Not the Typical Holiday Fair
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art & the Overture Canter of the Arts is hosting an upscale Holiday Art Fair in their gorgeous downtown space. There will be over 75 artist and 85 exhibitors plus gourmet food vendors. There will be a Jazz Quintet playing to entertain you as you browse. Here are a few things that will be there, jewelry, clocks, clothing and accessories, and fine craft objects, as well as paintings, prints, and photographs. Participating artists demonstrate sophisticated skill across a variety of media during the fair. Be careful not to get mesmerized by the glass blowers.

Circus Performances are Big Again
The Mad Circus Gala is a circus arts variety show featuring Madison's finest performers and special guests. The show will highlight aerial artists, German wheel, juggling, hoop dance, comedy and more. Plus musical guests Yid Vicious. The gala is a benefit for the Madison Circus Space, a nonprofit community circus arts space at 2100 Winnebago Street on the near east side of Madison.

Hayride in Christmas Lights
That’s right this Saturday November 22nd during the Holiday Fantasy in Lights there will be Hayrides from 6 to 9pm. Holiday Fantasy in Lights is a holiday stable for the Madison area for over 25 years. Every year the animated light sculptures get bigger and better. The display is open from dusk to dawn.

Minerals, They're Essential
It’s time for the 50th Madison Gem & Mineral Club Show this Saturday November 22nd. Whether you’re a gem and mineral expert or just looking for some great gems and jewelry, you won't want to miss this show. At this yearly event, sponsored by the Madison Gem & Mineral Club, attendees can watch as arrowheads are made and all there is to know about flint knapping and rock carving. Many vendors will be present to feature jewelry, fossils, rock specimens, beads and much more.
