A recent post on a top real estate web site caught my eye about hidden reasons buyers hate homes, one is about a homes furnishings.

Which is where home staging comes in. I believe all homes should be properly prepared - staged -  before being put on the market, not just vacant homes either, which is mostly what I get calls for. Occupied homes have their own pitfalls, distracting furniture, style, placement or scale can kill a deal. Working with a qualified home stager can help avoid these unnecessary issues and make for a smoother, quicker sale. Petty much everyone knows about homes stageing these days but only a fraction of homes on the market are actually staged. Hopefully, in a few more years most homes will be staged before selling as home staging is a invaluable real estate marketing tool.
