The beautiful Latta Plantation nestled in Huntersville is a great place to take children and people of all ages for a great educational experience of early American life on this pre-Civil War era living history farm. There are seasonal events and guided tours year-round. There is a small fee per person but it's definitely worth it. Make sure to check out their honeybee exhibit!
