Time for tax free weekend in SC! Luckily for Charlotteans, even though NC no longer has a tax free weekend, SC is just a few miles away!

For those who aren't as close to the SC border, there are many "better than tax free" sales going on around town. Concord Mills and Charlotte Premium Outlets are offering a 15% discount on already discounted items. Also, don't forget to check the Sunday newspaper ads over the next few weeks. There are a plethora of hot deals to be had at stores such as Office Depot, Staples, Target, Kmart and Walmart. These stores offer different specials each week so be sure to check the below links to see what savings are available. Some great offers include ten cent notebooks, fifty cent pencil packs, and five dollar Sharpie pen packs.
