The numbers for the July 2015 Sharon MA Market Report are in. Prices are down, which should make Sharon MA Buyers happy. Total sales have gone down as well. What else does the report have to say? Find out below.
2015 Sharon MA Market Report Summary
According to the MLS Property Information Network, a total of 23 Sharon MA homes were sold in July 2015. That is 37.8% less than July 2014 and 23.3% lower than June of this year. It is unusual to see this much of a drop off in sales from June to July.
Sharon MA Buyers will be very happy to hear these numbers. The average sale price for a Sharon MA home sold in July 2015 was $500,092. That is a 4.6% decrease from the same time last year. A 2 bed/1 bath, 864 square foot ranch-style home sold for $245,000 in July. That Buyer paid $15,000 over list price after just seven days on the market. At the upper end of the scale, a 4 bed/2.5 bath, 3000 square foot Colonial on 1.5 private acres sold for $775,000. That happy owner paid $5200 over list price after just 21 days on the market.
