Start stretching your leg muscles, get your running shoes out, and get ready to walk OR run in the 6th Annual Sunset Run for the Warriors on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Shelton.
The Sunset Run for the Warriors race consists of a 10K and 5K run plus a 1 mile run/walk and a kids race and will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Huntington Green.

The run is dedicated to service men and women wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and to families of those who were killed in the line of duty. It is a recognition and celebration of their strength, commitment and courage.
The general registration fee is $25 before race day and $30 on the day of the race. There is a $5 discount for veterans and those on active duty. Gold star families and wounded warriors receive free admission.
6th Annual Sunset Run For The Warriors Registration
All proceeds benefit wounded servicemen and women and families of those who have fallen through a national non-profit organization, Hope for the Warriors. This organization offers various programs to assist with immediate needs and family support.
