Good Wednesday morning Olga. It is good that you have a very active land trust in your area. There are a few in our area that are protecting natural land from being developed

Olga, sure sounds like the Fairfield Land Trust has a good following, and nice to see so many properties on the list.

Michael Thornton - we are lucky to have such a dedicated group working for everyone's good.
Conrad Allen - exactly! and our air fresher.
Joan Cox - some of those preserves are quite large, one is over 40 acres.

Thanks for the post. I love sweetcake mountain. Even though I've been down in Danbury for years, I just found about it about 2.5 years from one of my friens.

Jonathan Hall - glad you found it, better late than never, as they say. I discovered many of the trails with one of my daughter's Girl Scout Troupe.
Very impressive Olga. Fund raising is a life blood of the it's existence. Hopefully it was successful.
Olga,
Good localism blog and if I lived in the area I would support the Fairfield trust!

Joe Petrowsky - actually they just started fund-raising (good idea!); in the past it was just membership and dedicated efforts that sustained them.
Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert - thanks! localism is what it's all about as per Ben Kinney.
Roy Kelley - thank you, I think it's quite worthwhile. Love the peace of the hiking trails.
