Market Disruption

Whether the subject is real estate, sports, military equipment, or entertainment the US has always experienced disruptor's in pretty much every area of life.

This morning on my exercise circuit I saw a Redbox kiosk and remembered back in the day when Blockbuster stores reigned supreme. Redbox has the brick and mortar segment but the market leader in this class is probably Netflix.

When it comes to sports, football has replaced baseball as the nations favorite sport. And with the amount of ads I've seen re FanDuel, the wagering on games in the fantasy leagues is making football an even bigger sport in the US.

Market disruption in real estate over the past few years has been the Internet and many of the tools available like Zillow/Trulia and the many portals available.

But that's the way it works in America. Good ideas are replaced by better ideas and tools. Some of the techniques and tools I use to create market disruptions in my little world, I learned here at ActiveRain. Market disruptions are here to stay.

Noah Seidenberg my interest in sports has diminished over time. When we lived in St Louis I did enjoy the Cardinals, but here in San Antonio we only have the Spurs as a major sports franchise.
