This is my first blogpost from my new home in Naples, Florida. My past posts were from San Diego, California and my home and office in La Jolla. Today I am in a new home, one chosen very carefully and where I hope to spend the rest of my life. My family and I decided together that we needed a change of scenery with the added advantages of a better tax culture, affordable housing, less crime, excellent infrastructure, good weather, a combination of things we like to do (i.e. golf, tennis, swimming, boating etc..) and a place where I could continue my long career as a real estate professional. We found it here in Naples, Florida.
We first visited Naples in 1992 and thought how much it was a combination of La Jolla years ago and the golf course communities of the Palm Springs area. We spoke of how cool it would be to live in “The Golf Course Capital of the World” and have a beach too. Naples, has that and much more. I have discovered that Naples is listed on the top lists for destinations of luxury travelers, for where to retire, for active lifestyles, for growth and development and much more that I have yet to discover. If you are considering a retirement move, purchasing a vacation property, or making a lifestyle change, I hope you will continue to follow my posts about the advantages to living here and what I have and will be discovering in the months and years ahead.
Carpe diem!
