Don't miss the 2015 Carolina Balloon Fest the weekend of October 16 to 18 in Statesville, NC. Over 50 hot air balloons will be on site, including traditional style balloons and several others in unique shapes like Yoda, Darth Vader, and Mr Sunshine. Balloons launch twice daily, once in the early morning and again in late afternoon. Meet the pilots and learn more about the beautiful art of hot air balloon flying. For additional fees, you can also enjoy tethered hot air balloon rides and flights!

This years event includes a wine and craft beer tasting garden hosted by Wine Maestro! Entry is $15 (cash only) for a tasting card and purchase includes a commemorative glass and 25 tastings from 6 vendors. Vendors include Jones Von Drehle, Round Peak Vineyards, Skull Cap Brewing, WoodMill Winery, Southern Charm Winery, and Lake Norman Brewing Company.

There is also a Kids Zone for your little ones. Activities include free magic shows and inflatables. For an additional fee your child can bungee jump ($7), wall climb ($6), or walk in a balloon ($2).

Where to Park:

On-site parking is available ONLY to those who have purchased tickets in advance. Advanced parking and festivities take place at the Statesville Regional Airport at 260 Hangar Drive, Statesville, NC 28677.

If you choose to purchase day of event tickets, you must park and ride at the Iredell County Fairgrounds at 630 North Main Street, Troutman, NC 28166. Note that free shuttles only run from 11am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

*Note: Pets, coolers, drones, pop up tents, and weapons are prohibited.
