'JOY' Jennifer Lawrence Nominated Best Actress for Oscar
Oh Joy A snow storm possibly a blizzard is heading our way . My office is very busy as we just got several new agents and new phone lines are being installed desks are being moved . There is quite a bit of commotion going on . My Niece who was coming for a visit from Florida canceled her trip to Philadelphia this weekend to her and my dismay .
The Governor of Pennsylvania made announcements on the state of the on coming weather conditions . I canceled my appointments for the weekend . My one client who is a dear friend refused to believe there is a storm coming until she talked to me . Luckily I did my food shopping as the food markets are packed & my son in law told me there is nothing on the shelves .
Well knowing I would be in all weekend I decided to go to the movies Today was the last day to see "Joy " I have heard mixed reviews about "Joy". Too long they said. Jennifer Lawrence was good but the movie sucked . Someone else said it was okay . Well I am glad I went to see it in the theaters Wow I really enjoyed "Joy" . Wacko true story of Joy Mangano now on HSN who invented a Mop and sold it on QVC . Located in West Chester Pa I have visited the Outlet stores . You can even visit the QVC Studios . It is a 45 minute drive from where I live
I have new respect for this lady . I must say Jennifer Lawrence was excellent Music was good and I felt part of the movie . I am glad she was nominated and I enjoyed "Joy" . It also had a wonderful cast of actors and actresses .It is not an artsy movie . It is a real down to earth real life American Dreams can come true movie .
To be honest I have seen Concussion and I enjoyed "JOY" more .. I also thought Tom Hanks was wonderful in Bridge of Spies and Johnny Depp was amazing in The Black Mass - That is my two cents for what it is worth about this Oscar protest ..so many wonderful movies this year
