Your small profile head vs the reg size head.

Hello everyone-A while back I noticed in the comment sections of many of my followers blogs all of a sudden a lot of the profile pics were smaller than some of the others when they commented. I didn't know why but didn't think anything about it until one day Ron and Alexandra Seigel made a comment on somebody's blog about it and mentioned that with that smaller head it didn't let you know if you tagged someone or if you had even commented back to that person. 

I found out that is very true from noticing on comments I have made and the author comments back with the smaller head profile pic. The only way you know if they replied to your comment is if they also liked your comment.  Now I also had read that small profile pic comes from the dropdown menu. Not sure where that is but must be I am in the minority there as I have seen lots of the smaller profile heads.

  

Now today I also found out that if you make a comment on somebody's blog using the small head method it won't let you know that someone even commented on your post. I found that out when Gary Woltal and Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD both commented the drop down menu method. Neither showed up on my home page that they made a comment. The only reason I knew they both commented is @Belinda had made a comment but hers was the other way.  I took the liberty of using Gary Woltal's profile pics because I knew he wouldn't mind,

Now I don't know if I explained it so you understood me but thought I would share with you what I learned from Ron and Alexandra's comment about the comments not showing up even when you tag someone with the smaller profile pic. I always say we learn something new from our favorite luxury agents in Carpinteria CA and this was no exception. I thought it was worth bringing attention to it in a blog in the event you didn't know.

Hello again-Thanks to Hannah Williams I think I can better clarify what I am talking about. If you use the comment option done by hovering over the comment number (in the right corner)it will not show up on the homepage to let the person know you replied to them even if you tag them. Don't know why it won't but it won't.
