I ran out to meet my newlywed clients this morning to peek at a home that hit the market last night.
The wife wanted to see it before they signed an OTP (Offer to Purchase) on a different home we negotiated last night.
She said, "Michele , sorry to do this to you, but can we go see XXXX before we sign the contract " ?
Of course !
I would never want them to feel like they missed out on something better or rushed into things. We only saw a handful of homes before we found "the one" they both could see themselves raising a family in....
She told me when she bought her wedding dress she did the same thing and kept looking at more dresses. She didn't ever find one better. Ironically, this new listing did not meet their expectations and the offer negotiated last night is being finalized as I type this.
So you ask what I nailed... ??
Two things !
1. I knew the one they had already picked would be the final decision and
2. I picked up a nail in my tire this morning on the way back !!!!
