Boating Season and Showing Homes

By
Real Estate Agent 40CA1147997

The bridge at the mouth of Irondequoit Bay and Lake Ontario opened for boater's today and closed for traffic to the northern part of Rochester. While this is not a bad thing it adds quite a few miles to show properties in the nortern part of Irondequoit, Rochester and points west.

Hello Raymond ...

Just a heads-up my friend, the URL attachment is looking a little strange on your post and it has to be tough showing homes during boating season

I just took a look at the link and saw the bridge closed so all the boats can travel underneath, wow!

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz Bob "RealMan" Timm The picture shows it in the open position for boat traffic will take a pic to show it better.

Good morning Ray. Not sure what the photos are, they are not opening, but get the idea when it comes to water, especially as it gets warmer.

Hi Raymond.  Wow, they open the bridge for boats and leave it open all summer.  That's amazing.

Raymond E. Camp I remember the construction at the bridges and tunnels in New York.  Alternate routes can be a pain, but are sometimes necessary.

Elyse Berman With the spring/summer season upon us and reapirs to many bridges there will be more alternative routes.

Hey Raymond I thought this was an April fools joke. Boating season begins on April 1st in Rochester? It's still snowing!

Quite cool Raymond E. Camp I have seen the many lift bridge on the canal but not the Irondequoit Bay Bridge.  Will check it out late summer when we are up that way.
