Beach Creatures-Pacific City Oregon

By
Real Estate Agent with John L Scott Market Center 700512026

A weekend spent in Pacific City, Oregon beckoned me to take my camera and head onto the gray-hued beach for some photographic perspectives.

Beach creatures from tiny crablike beings (as if from another planet) of a half-inch in length,

to a mammoth tree festooned with constellations of barnacles. The smooth, striated surfaces were a visual delight to this photographic eye. Very wabi sabi-ish!!!

I even found a tiny creature whose slightly slimy surface reminded me of a face that's had just one too many trips to the plastic surgeon!

Just my crazy imagination at work again.

The artwork that nature provides from the ocean depths that lands on the beach is always a sight to behold with awe.

The mahogany tones of water-washed wood on the giant tree gave me opportunities to see abstract art, like the one above, but with  completely different structures,  lines  and textures.

What would a beach be without the ever-present seagull? This one struck me as rather pensive as he stood facing the waves, quietly taking in the morning.

Bunnies at the Beach? What?? Yes. An odd tale, not sure of all of the details, but they are now prolific wandering around freely in Pacific City. I caught this one beside the road as I headed for home.

Noah Seidenberg thanks for being my first commenter of the day! I've been off and running with new listings, new clients, etc. Busy day back from the beach!!

Patricia Kennedy and to think that "Bunny" almost didn't make the cut because he/she wasn't "on the beach"! Glad you liked them.

Anna Banana Kruchten how fun to look at it this way! Happy to have you along...I had such a great time!

Myrl Jeffcoat oh, I"m THRILLED that you chose to feature this!  Thank you, it was great fun editing these at dark-thirty this AM.

Hi Gayle - We used to spend time in Neskowin, just up the road from Pacific City, and the beach there was always full of wonders - but the memory I'll never be able to lose is stepping barefoot on a banana slug. Ewww.

Gayle, I drive about two hours to go to the beach just to walk around and admire what's in and around the water. These photos are just amazing.

OMG Girlfriend, I love your photos.  You need to enter them into a contest!!! And that trip to the plastic surgeon - THAT is definitely what I am afraid of every time I think about undergoing the knife!!! I need your help in learning how to put a signature on my photos! xox

Hi Gayle!

My eyes were playing tricks on me. I read your title as Breach Creatures 3 times! WOW! That first photo looks like an alien from outer-space! It could be an inspiration for a Stephen King film. I have never seen anything like it. Though not creepy, I love everything in nature, it was uniquely different!

Your photography is stunning! The examples of beauty on the beach were phenomenal! And your comedian side with that shot of too many plastic surgeries was hysterical! You truly do have an eye for beauty and a way with the camera that shows off the artistic side of your amazing talent!

Hi Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 ,  Your Beach Creature definately looks like an alien to me.  The picture with the glasses reminds me of a blind date I had back in high school.   HaHaHaHa (Just kidding)
