The low inventory trend in resale homes continues for
the DeSoto area, with available homes well below that
of the prior two years:
New construction homes have decreased in their available inventory from 2014 and 2015:
And although the median price fluctuates month to month, it is exciting to see that the median home price
per foot continues to rise for the DeSoto Real Estate market overall:

Lisa Von Domek There is no great surprise in the increased home prices if for no other reason than the lower inventory, but we know there are many more reasons for the price increases. The question is how much longer can the buyer market keep absorbing the higher home prices? I pose that question not to you specifically, but to all agents, nationwide.
