A post by Amy Hahn yesterday on socializing with fellow real estate professionals hit a chord with me especially as our local board has been doing just that for years.
Once a month we have a planned social gathering at a local restaurant, (Lounge actually). There is always a law firm or lender too anxious to host.
It is usually attended by 30-40 strong of the board members and some associates, all enjoying the camaraderie of fellow agents. It makes for a good time and also the familiarity is great for those ties when we have to work together.

It's always a great few hours and as long as all control their intake all come back the folowing month. It is usually set up for the last Wednesday of each month.
